Quick Rewards Guide for Newegg

💡 Top Performing Card: The community-verified best credit card for Newegg purchases is the Citi ThankYou Mastercard. Transactions on this card consistently earn 2X ThankYou points by coding in the "Retail, Online Purchase" category.

🔍 Merchant Category Coding (MCC): Newegg transactions most frequently code as "Computer software" (or sometimes "Retail, Online Purchase / Online Purchase, Retail"). Ensure your chosen card offers high multiplier rewards for this category to maximize your cash back or travel points.

💳 Maximize Online & App Bookings: For online or mobile app purchases at Newegg, checkout options like PayPal, Apple Pay, or purchasing digital gift cards can sometimes trigger alternative bonus categories (like 5% quarterly rotating categories) that outperform standard card multipliers.
